Progressio's Campaigns Officer, Daniel Hale, talks to Paul Hammond on UCB Radio about water for livelihoods, life for women in Zimbabwe and what it's hoped can be acheived through the Waterproof campaign.
Daniel Hale recently travelled to Zimbabwe to find out how people there are coping with the everyday challenge of getting access to enough water for their livelihoods. For women in particular, who often bear the responsibility for providing for their families' basic water needs as well as growing food to feed them, not having reliable access to a healthy water source makes everyday life incredibly tough.
