You're invited to Progressio's AGM and supporters’ day to find out about what we've been up to this past year and our exciting plans for the future.

Join us at Scope, 6 Market Road, London N7 9PW on Saturday 22 September for workshops, talks and to meet our new CEO. We'd love to see you there!

Come along to find out more about the positive impact your support here in the UK is having in our programmes around the world.

It will be a great chance for Progressio staff and supporters to meet and mingle, exchange experiences and discuss how we can continue to make a difference.

Our new Chief Executive, Mark Lister, will also be introduced.

There will be two workshops to take part in:

1) The role of young people in development

Ever wondered what it’s like to volunteer for Progressio overseas? Find out first-hand from some of the young adults who have taken part in the International Citizen Service scheme, working with our partners in various countries on a wide range of projects.

2) Zimbabwe: A future of hope

Meet Fiona, our new sub-regional manager for southern Africa, and hear about the issues she will be working on in her native Zimbabwe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to share and celebrate the progress we’ve made together and to introduce our new CEO Mark Lister and hear his vision for the next step of the journey.

Until then, why not check out our annual report which is packed full of great stories form our partner organisations and the people they’ve helped.

Formal AGM business takes place from 1-2. After a break for tea and cakes the afternoon session will run from 2:30-4:30.

Let us know if you’d like to attend the AGM and supporters' day: please contact Lucy Frew. If you just want to come for part of the day, that's absolutely fine.

We look forward to seeing you there.

PS: unfortunately, we're not able to help with travel arrangements or costs for this event

I regret to be unable to attend it since I am in Kenya and cannot meet the expenses of traveling.

Kind regards,

The needs of children and youth, particularly with regards to their living environment, have to be taken fully into account. Special attention needs to be paid to the participatory processes dealing with the shaping of cities, towns and neighborhoods; this is in order to secure the living conditions of children and of youth and to make use of their insights, creativity and thought on their environment
