How to leave a Legacy

Will your legacy transform the lives of people in poor communities?

Without the gifts left in their Wills by people who care, many charities would not be able to continue their vital work.

There are three main ways you can support Progressio in your Will - and so leave a gift that will transform the lives of people in poor communities around the world:

  • Pecuniary bequest – a gift of a fixed amount of money
  • Residuary bequest – a share of what is left of your estate after all other gifts and expenses have been paid
  • Specific bequest – a gift of a particular item (such as property or stocks and shares)

If you do not have a Will you should seek professional advice from a legal advisor or solicitor. Writing a Will with professional advice is easy to do - and it is not expensive.

If you already have a Will you can add a Codicil - a document which enables you to make an addition or amendment to your Will, such as including a gift to Progressio. Your legal advisor or solicitor can easily do this for you.

If you would like to find out more about leaving a legacy to Progressio you can visit our FAQs page or contact us and we will be more than happy to help.

Remember us in your will
