Take action

Send a message to New York!
In September, world leaders meet in New York City to report on progress towards meeting the Millennium Development Goals.
Having been convened by Ban-Ki Moon, the United Nations' General Secretary, our leaders are probably going to celebrate their successes - but they are going to have to own up to their failures too.
Progress has been too slow in many places. But we must keep our promises. So add your voice to remind Nick Clegg (who will represent the Government) and Andrew Mitchell (the Secretary of State for International Development) of the promises made to the world's poorest people.
Harangue your MP!
The Stop Climate Chaos coalition are organising a local constituency lobby of MPs to rebuild support for action on climate change. If you already have a relationship with your MP this is a great opportunity to reconnect with them. And if you haven't, it's a great place to start.
Could you co-ordinate some of your fellow constituents to lobby on the 5 or 6 November? We’ll offer you all the support you need in the run-up, just email daniel@progressio.org.uk now to register your interest.
Campaigning works!
We knew it did, but the stunning victory for campaigners on illegal timber being imported into the EU proved how much impact a small band of committed campaigners can have.
