We aim to spend as much of our funds as possible on helping improve people’s lives in the countries where we work. In 2012/13, we spent 93% of our funds on our charitable objectives (tackling poverty in the countries where we work, advocating for policy change, and promoting public awareness about development issues).

The bulk of this money (91% of our total funds) goes on placing and funding development workers, and advocating for change to the policies and structures that keep people poor. Donations and membership subscriptions go towards this work – so if you donate to Progressio, you can be sure your money is being used to help people overcome poverty and improve their lives!

You can read more about how we are funded and how the money is spent or, for more detailed information, read our annual reviews, trustees' reports and financial statements.
