£22,611 gross pa (plus other benefits)
Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
Based in Brixton, London (with occasional travel within the UK) 

The post holder will be responsible for the supporter care of Progressio’s individual supporters. S/he will also contribute to the delivery of effective fundraising appeals and communications to strengthen relations with and increase income from existing and new supporters for our People Powered Development work.

The successful candidate should have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising or individual giving role; in supporter care or customer service; working in a busy office, meeting a wide range of requests, and communicating effectively with a diverse range of people is essential.

You should have first class interpersonal and customer care skills (face-to-face, written and over the phone); excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise own workload, multitask and work to tight deadlines; the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team; solid office/administrative skills, including accurate and fast typing skills; a thorough and methodical approach to tasks, including excellent attention to detail, and excellent writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to audiences in a clear and inspiring manner. 

Excellent written and spoken English; computer skills, including advanced Excel and Word; flexibility to undertake a range of hands-on duties associated with working in a small organisation; cultural awareness and a willingness to engage with faith-based and diaspora communities, and a willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends is also essential.
