Preparing for National Youth Sunday (7 Jun 2007)

New dates have been announced for the preparation days for National Youth Sunday, to be hosted by three member organisations of the livesimply network: Catholic Youth Services, CAFOD and Pax Christi.

The events will now take place as follows:

Tuesday 11 September, St Chad's Cathedral
St. Chads Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6ET

Thursday 13 September - St Vincent's Centre, Carlisle Place, Victoria, London

Tuesday 18 September, at Leeds Cathedral Hall
Great George Street, Leeds, LS2 8BE

All involved in youth ministry are invited - the days will be especially useful for those who have a role in promoting National Youth Sunday and livesimply in their own diocese or area.

The days will give a chance for participants to share any stories of success and good practice as well as an opportunity to learn more about solidarity and its roots in Catholic Social Teaching. There will be an introduction to this year's National Youth Sunday materials, and a session looking ahead to the livesimply event in March 2008 as well as the legacy of the livesimply challenge.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Each day will start with coffee at 10.30am for an 11am start and will finish by 4pm.
