live simply

What's it all about?

We've been asking around for simple sentences that convey what livesimply's all about for young people. Here are some that we've heard so far.

"It's down to you - if you see these problems in the world, you need to make yourself aware and realise that you have the power to change it in some way, no matter how big or small." (Luke Smith, Myddleton Grange)

"Giving back to the poor what's theirs." (Angela Powell, Sheffield)

"Doing small actions to make a difference in the world." (Rose Shay, Doncaster)

"Solidarity has 'solid' in it, like a rock. Peter was the rock Jesus built his church on. We have to be strong too for people in the world we don't see." (Gemma Boys, Leyland)

"If we live more simply we'll have more room for God." (that's us paraphrasing +Vincent Nichols)
