New livesimply song and prayer (26 Jun 2008)

Every day at Mass, parishioners at St Peter's in Hinckley, Leicestershire, refresh their commitment to living simply with a special prayer.

The prayer was written by youngsters in the parish's First Communion Group (with a little help from parish priest Father Frank Daly).

Father Frank also wrote a song for SPANNED, an agency for people with special needs throughout the Diocese of Nottingham.

Set to a well known tune, the song says 'If you want to save the world, then change your life'.

The parish is doing a project on livesimply this year, with special liturgies planned.  And they would be delighted for others to use the prayer and song too.
