Water is Life - We Can Preserve it

Water is precious, every living thing on the earth depends on it, it keeps them alive! It binds us together as one human race on one planet. Improving our water conservation and realising the importance of preserving water will help us to respect our common birth in the waters of the earth.

More than 1.1 billion people in the developing world lack access to clean drinking water and as a result 3 million people die each year due to water related diseases. The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that today 4000 children will be killed by diarrhoea caused by dirty water.

This challenge is to dedicate one day/week or month of careful use of water and save lives of millions that die each day by living simply, sustainably and in solidarity as a community, congregation, school or class.
