All over the world, impoverished people are struggling to make ends meet. They are the ones paying the price for the global economic crisis – a crisis caused by a greedy, reckless and unregulated economic system which has been biased against the poor for decades.

The current economic system has created inequality, instability, and enormous social and environmental problems – and the consequences are felt most keenly by the world’s poor. 

That’s why Progressio is teaming up with charity organisations from all across the UK to send a united message to Prime Minister Gordon Brown: End global greed!
 
We are calling for a radically different system that puts people and the planet first – a new system that gives the world’s poorest people a full and equal say.
