our funding
Progressio's total income in 2006/7 was £4,356,840. The UK's Department for International Development (DFID) provides 64% of our income through a Partnership Programme Agreement (PPA). Our PPA agreement was renewed by DFID in 2005, setting out a six-year programme of work for 2005-2011 in areas of common strategic interest, including sustainable environment and HIV and AIDS. We are most grateful to DFID for their support and cooperation. For further information please refer to our 2005/06 PPA report to DFID. Other sources of income are as follows: Progressio Ireland 7%, Irish Aid 5%, Comic Relief 5%, The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria 4%, CAFOD 3%, Christian Aid 2%, Cordaid 1%, European Commission 1%, Caritas Aotearoa New Zealand 1%, Missio 1%, Membership subscriptions, donations, sales, legacies, sundry receipts 6%. Progressio is grateful to the many individuals, agencies, trusts and other organisations who support us (see the following table at the foot of the page). Our work would not be possible without them. Progressio's financial statements for the year 2006/7 have been audited by the independent auditors, Appleby & Wood. Download the full audited accounts. A printed copy is also available on request from Progressio. Please contact Caroline Pankhurst if you would like further information on how we are funded. Supporting our workProgressio has over 1500 members and supporters committed to the fight against poverty and injustice. Progressio also welcomes assistance from other organisations. On behalf of our partners abroad and all the beneficiaries of our work, we are grateful to the donors above, as well as to all those who have chosen to remain anonymous. |
