Sustainable development and climate change with Professor Mohan Munasinghe

Professor Mohan Munasinghe, an internationally-recognised expert on energy, sustainable development and climate change, will speak on viable models of development that can alleviate poverty without exacerbating climate change – a task that is challenging but, he believes, achievable. Professor Munasinghe is former Vice Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

The event promises to be an evening of challenging debate ahead of the pivotal summit on climate change in Copenhagen this December.

Professor Munasinghe will be speaking as part of Progressio’s AGM. His talk is however a public meeting and all are welcome.

If you would like tickets for the event please send an email to Denise MacMahon at Progressio (denise@progressio.org.uk)

Event Details
