Saeed Meygag Samater Died this Afternoon; Founder, and President of SOPRI

We sadly announce the death of Saeed Meygag Samater, Founder and President of SOPRI.
Saeed died at the Hospital this afternoon with his family and friends at his bed side.

Saeed will be buried Friday in Oakland, CA. Saeed has been known as a family man and
fierce supporter of Somaliland causes. His dedication to Somaliland has earned him the
admiration of his friends and communities. We pray to Allah to open the doors of heaven
for Saeed and to give his family and friends the strength they need to bear this difficult time.

Ina Lilahi Waa Ina Illahi raajicuun - Ilaahay haw naxariisto marxuum Saeed Meygag Samater,
dhamaan eheladii iyo asxaabtii uu ka geeriyoodayna samir iyo iimaan ha ka siiyo - Aamiin.
